This has been a dream for our family for years. We wanted to create a local hangout where we could have families enjoy some good food, beer and music. When my wife Donni graduated high school (not sure how she made it out of Mill City), she went to work on a cinnamon roll truck that toured CA county fairs. I think that’s where her obsession started. My obsession is more with food truck food and eating my way through county fairs. All kidding aside, we have lived in Tumalo for 12 years, our kids go to Tumalo School, we love the Tumalo community. I am a native Oregonian. I love to fly fish and float the lower Deschutes in my spare time. For my day job I work in the mortgage industry. I started in 1997 and specialize in lot and construction lending. My great grandmother owned a place in Bend for 50 years. I grew up coming to Bend when I was very little and knew at some point I would live here permanently. I moved to Central Oregon in 2004 and have lived in Tumalo since 2005. I also get to coach my kids’ basketball teams. Go Tumalo Tigers!
The Bite has been a dream of mine for years. I love spending time down here, and serving local Tumalo folks. In my spare time, I love to go to Crossfit, float/camp the lower Deschutes with friends, and hang out with my family. I have lived in Central Oregon for 15 years and grew up in Yosemite, CA. Before The Bite I was an aesthetician for 10 years.
